If you are frustrated by having to sign up on every exchange, get accepted and pay for trading, your hassles are finally coming to an end.
Meet Robihhood, the app that allows commission-free trades in the micro-finance sector. The app has some great features including instant deposits (ACH bank transfers immediately showing up in your account for trading), commission-free trading (free crypto trading) and most importantly – a secure and established trading platform that is widely used among newer investors and small-order traders.
The new features of the app will roll out in February. However, starting 25 January, Robinhood has made the official start and added 16 cryptos to the watch list market data. The app also filters the latest cryptocurrency news and allows you to create custom price alerts.
The supported crypto coins right now on Robinhood include Bitcoin, Ethereum, Bitcoin Cash, Litecoin, Ripple, Zcash, Dash, Monero, Ethereum Classic, Bitcoin Gold, Stellar, Qtum, NEO, Lisk and Dogecoin.
Starting in February, you can trade without commission in Bitcoin (BTC) and Ethereum (ETH) on Robinhood. As the app stated in an official blog post:
“Trading functionality for BTC and ETH will be released gradually in waves to Robinhood residents in California, Massachusetts, Missouri, Montana, and New Hampshire. Robinhood Crypto will be available in more states soon.”
The real convenience here, according to users, is the easy interface and the way to trade crypto for free via an app alone. It’s true that the coming months will be more and more exciting for the app, as it will enter the crypto market in a big way and be able to provide even better access to the market and allow new demographics of people to access the altcoins.
