The two companies delivered their first product which is software that will accelerate and industrialize the implementation of other blockchain projects. In the company’s press release you can read that:
“Most blockchain projects stagnate at the ‘proof of concept’ stage and this technology still remains the domain of experts and specialists.”
They will bring new and improved tools that will be very helpful in developing smart contracts thus users that have no technical knowledge will easily use them and will be more accessible to them. Also, it’s important that these tools will manage the establishment of blockchain infrastructure making it accessible directly on the company’s server.
The startups managed to gather 1.9 million euros in seed funding and there are currently more than 10 people working as a team. By the end of 2019, this team is expected to grow by at least 15 people because the company plans to expand their work in Singapore during next year.
Engie joined a group of energy companies last March with the goal to foster blockchain projects in the energy sector for further commercial deployment. Also, the research center of Engie signed a memorandum with the IOTA foundation so they can test the possible uses of the blockchain technology in energy management.
