The latest cryptocurrency news show a bit of drama, as one of the leading cryptocurrency exchanges Binance is officially removing Bitcoin SV (BSV) from its trading options, as a company blog post noted. The coming altcoin news also saw Bitcoin Cash (BCH) surge by 15% as a result of this delisting – and the main competitor gaining on the bad news for BSV.
According to an official post, the CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao (CZ) threatened to delist the Bitcoin Cash fork coin in response to Craig S. Wright who is the coin’s creator, further threatening Lighting Torch prometheus Hodlonaut with a lawsuit.

After this tweet came the official blog post which was featured on many best cryptocurrency news sites – in which Binance said that ““all trade orders will be automatically removed after trading ceases in each respective trading pair.”
The post further that featured Bitcoin SV (BSV) and further clarified:
“At Binance, we periodically review each digital asset we list to ensure that it continues to meet the high level of standard we expect. When a coin or token no longer meets this standard, or the industry changes, we conduct a more in-depth review and potentially delist it. We believe this best protects all of our users.”
The standards mentioned include things such as team commitment, development activity, network strength, cooperation with the Binance team and potential fraudulent and/or unethical conducts.
Right now, it is safe to say that Bitcoin SV (BSV) was deleted because of a Twitter fight between Craig S. Wright and the handle “Hodlonaut” in which there were a lot of rocks and lawsuits thrown.
Even if this wasn’t the case, though, a lot of Bitcoin community members said that Bitcoin SV (BSV) does not meet the typical technical standards for a reputable exchange anyway given how many transaction confirmations these exchanges require before they recognize deposits.
Following the current altcoin news and the BSV delisting, Bitcoin SV’s price fell dramatically and it is right now in a minus of more than 21%, losing a fifth of its price and currently trading at $56.
