68% of millionaires around the world have already invested in crypto or are planning to do so by 2020 according to a survey by consultancy firm deVere Group. The coming altcoin news shows that most of the high-net-worth individuals are satisfied with their investment.
The Dubai-based financial consultancy company survey shows that millionaires are willing to invest in cryptocurrency due to the good returns and diverse portfolio. DeVere has about $10 billion in assets with more than 80,000 clients in about 100 countries around the world. About two-thirds of the global individuals, who have total assets value more than 1 million British pounds or $1.3 million, will likely be invested in cryptocurrency such as Ethereum, Ripple or Bitcoin.
The DeVere survey included about 700 clients of the company as their respondents who are located in major finance countries around the world including the United Kingdom, the United States, Japan, Qatar, Switzerland, Australia, Hong Kong, France, Germany, and the United Arab Emirates. The founder of the consultancy firm and CEO Nigel Green pointed out five important factors that boost the global high-net-worth individuals to watch out for crypto without including the Fear of Missing Out or FOMO.
DeVere CEO also explained that the first major reason why cryptocurrencies are a good option is that they are borderless and they are available for use all over the world. Some of the other factors include that crypto is slowly becoming the general global trend for enhancing digitalization and increased the capability of crypto to provide solutions for all the issues that occur in real life including international remittances. Cryptocurrencies are also able to provide services for the unbanked population as well as to boost the involvement of the institutional investors.
