Cryptocurrencies Will Dominate In The Next 5 Years According To Tim Draper

It is almost a rule when the bulls get back on the market to start making price predictions about Bitcoin. There were many predictions covered in our altcoin news and the latest one comes from billionaire Tim Draper after he was asked for a Fox Business interview about his opinions on the crypto market.

He stated:

 “I think we are probably 2 years away before everyone is buying coffee With crypto” … “I made a prediction that in 5 years, we will try to go in and buy coffee for fiat money and the barista will laugh at you.”

Tim Draper is known to be one of the earliest investors in Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. He has already made predictions about the price of Bitcoin and the most popular one is that the number one cryptocurrency will be worth $250,000 by the end of 2020. He later reaffirmed his statement when the market entered in the bear phase.

Draper also praised the security of the blockchain technology stating that the BTC blockchain is much more secure than a bank for storing and holding your assets. He believes that thinking that BTC is only used for criminal activity is an understatement because fiat transactions are the ones that are used that can’t’ be traced whereas Bitcoins can be easily traced. He said:

 “The criminals will still want to operate with cash as they catch everyone who tries using bitcoin for a crime. Not on the way in when the criminal receives the bitcoin but as soon as they want to spend it, those blocks are tagged and they’re going to all be prosecuted.”
