Google Search NFT Data Shows Axie Infinity Ranks “Most Searched”

The Google search NFT data shows that the most searched term was “Axie Infinity” and recently, Design Bundle as a source of design materials and online marketplace released a ranking of the most popular NFTs which is what is reading furhter in today’s latest crypto news.

The NFTs were ordered by the number of times each one was looked for on Google in the specific month so Axie Infinity came on top of the searches with 3.86 million searches.  Axie Infinity is a play-to-earn game where the players can buy and breed monsters known as Axies against one another and win in-game cash known as little love potions.

The potions can be exchanged for real money and the play to earn represents a busienss model where players get rewarded with crypto in exchange for playing a game. Each Axie is a non-fungible token which is one of a kind collectible that can be purchased or sold on third-party platforms. To start the battles, the players have at least three Axis with the cheapest one starting at $200 and in 2020, the most valuable monster was sold for 300 ETH or $130,000 at that time. The Sandbox is listed right after Axie with a count of 553,000 but still far from AXS. It is a digital Metaverse where the users can buy lands and build their avatars using NFTs.

NBA Prime shot came in third and it functions as an NFT market where most of the significant moments in NBA history can be gathered and traded in a digital fashion. Prime Shot has more than 520,000 merchants and a value of $862 million. Axie Infinity is at the price level of $51.92 and had a 4.38% drop since the previous day. AXS garnered a high of $55.69 and calculated lows of $50.65 on Coindex.

The google search NFT data shows that the interest is also getting lower. The metaverse evolved from a concept to reality over the past year and it gained traction because of the many brands forming metaverse platforms to expand beyond just social media. Since then, the metaverse boomed alongside NFT. With its endless possibilities, the metaverse will provide more opportunities for businesses of all sizes and will boost major economic sectors like real estate and other fields.
