FanDuel, which is a major fantasy sports platform, has recently announced its partnership with the altcoin DASH. The return of the flagship fantasy sports competition named ‘Crypto Cup’ is apparently where users would be able to win prizes in Dash and compete against each other.
Previously, the February edition of Crypto Cup in 2018 was based on the NBA playoffs. Now, the edition will follow the NFL and was officially presented yesterday, September 9th. As the platform noted, it will run to Sunday, January 6th.

This is not the first time FanDuel is using crypto as a reward system. In January 2018, there was a tournament called Bitcoin Bowl in which users played to win prize amounts in Bitcoin. However, this edition of the Crypto Cup consists of 18 free-play contests running from yesterday until December 30th, followed by a play final on January 6th.
In order to qualify for the final, users must take part in all 18 free plays. Those who qualify will be emailed a voucher for the Final Free Play on or before January 2nd. According to FanDuel, the prize winners will be contacted within 72 hours of the contest with instruction for claiming their prizes – which will be sent to their DASH wallets within 30 days of providing the platform with all required information.
