The Bitcoin news today show that the most dominant cryptocurrency (Bitcoin) is still hovering above the $3,600 limit and getting closer to $3,700 as most of the market remains unchanged and with only minimal movements up and down.
At press time, Bitcoin is up 0.21% and trading at $3,671.85. Ripple (XRP) is second, trading at $0.333 with a 0.45% increase, followed by Ethereum which lost 0.91% of its value and is now trading at $125.99. On the weekly chart, Ethereum’s current value is significantly lower than $157 which was the price when the coin started the week.
Among the top 20 cryptocurrencies, the most notable price action can be seen in Bitcoin SV (BSV) which rose by 4.53% and is now trading at $85.52 as well as Stellar (XLM) which jumped by 3.78% and now trading at $0.11.
As we reported earlier this week, the number of active Bitcoin wallets has seen an uptick that could boost a major market movement. However, analysts still think that we are far from a bull market, predicting that the price of Bitcoin and the other altcoins may stay at this point for a while.
However, there are also some reports saying that Bitcoin could be visiting the $3,000 region soon and that the increased supply of altcoins may force the BTC price to decrease over time.
