The game features a crypto wallet so players can collect Bitcoin, Ethereum, and other crypto-assets. NFT skins are also available to buy. PewDiePie who is the most popular YouTube gamer is proposing a novel, Pokemon-style game called Wallem and even sells his own skin as a nonfungible token.

Back in May, L’Atelier a research company a part of the French international banking group BNP Paribas, identified the $100 billion market of gaming platforms like Minecraft and Fortnite so now mainstream YouTubers are joining. The game uses a 3D map and augmented reality technology to place virtual objects in the real world. It features the crypto wallet and allows users to find and collect cryptocurrencies which can then be transferred to an external wallet and sold on the exchange:

Wallem is available on iOS and Android and it rewards players with an ETH-based ERC-20 token named Pteria, featuring special events with prizes from major brands like Armani and Motta. Players can purchase NFT skins on the Rarible marketplace and use it in the new game. other limited-edition NFTs will be available as well according to Wallem so players can benefit from simply possessing the NFT during the special events. the game’s inventor Andrea Bempensante said that the future version of the game will allow players to steal tokens from each other. The open wallet of the game will display the value of tokens that are captured by players who have to protect their stash with special items or to move them away by turning off the app.
The popular youtube star is no stranger to blockchain-based apps. He partnered with the decentralized video streaming platform Dlive and left it for his home-YouTube. however, he hasn’t abandoned crypto.
