Binance Enables Instant Digital Currency Purchases With Russian Ruble

The second-largest crypto exchange by daily trading volume, as a part of the Binance coin listing news, announced the decision to enable instant purchases of four major digital currencies with the Russian ruble so let’s read more about it in our report below.

The development will allow the users of the platform to connect their Visa banking card and purchase Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB) and XRP with the Russian ruble according to a Feb 5 announcement, the exchange said that the users will be able to complete a purchase in a few minutes and will not have to make deposits before the purchase. In the near future, the platform plans to launch Mastercard support as well as support for other currencies as well.

Binance enables the ruble trading which was a plan in October 2019 and it initially allowed users to deposit and withdraw in Russia’s national currency on the platform. At the same time, Binance’s CEO Changpeng Zhao or CZ revealed that Russia was one of the top 10 markets on the exchange. Of course, this checked out as true after a survey by the Russian-language crypto news outlet Forklog emerged, saying that the summer in 2019 reports showed that Binance was the most popular cryptocurrency exchange in Russia, Belarus, and Ukraine with more than 60 percent of the respondents saying that they prefer Binance rather than any other global crypto exchanges.

In December 2019, the popular crypto exchange extended its trading capabilities for the Turkish Lira and added another trading pair for the ruble and the lira as well. The Turkish binance community manager explained that the exchange added order book trading for all of the Turkish lira trading pairs including BTC, XRP, BNB and ETH, Binance USD and Tether. Before, these trading pairs had only been available as one-click buys or sell directly to and from the exchange.

Recently, binance launched peer-to-peer trading for the Vietnamese dong and also enabled the users to purchase directly and sell major cryptocurrencies using the dong but the latest versions of the Binance P2P mobile app is available on iOS and Android.
