Binance.US keeps expanding the list of their available altcoins. In the latest cryptocurrency news, we can see that IOTA and BUSD are officially listed on the exchange. The American arm of the Malta-based cryptocurrency exchange has announced the addition of the two coins, which are now available for trading on the exchanges.
If you follow our IOTA news, you probably know that IOTA (MIOTA) is a token which underpins the Internet of Things (IoT) ecosystem and has a set of principles that distinguish itself from many other token. Currently, IOTA is at the 18th place of the total cryptocurrency market capitalization with a current price of $0.2850.
Meanwhile, BUSD is a dollar-pegged stablecoin launched by the Binance exchange back in September. It is also known as Binance USD that ranks on the 145th place on the list. There are many misconceptions and doubts since it is not the Binance Coin (BNB) – but a dollar-pegged stablecoin that the exchange released a while ago in cooperation with Paxos.
From the outset, it seems like IOTA and BUSD are going to present a lot of new opportunities on the market. Binance.US, which opened its doors for the majority of US customers at the end of September, only allowed to trade seven major coins including Binance Coin (BNB). Later, it started expanding its offering and gradually added more and more altcoins.
As U.Today also reported, Chainlink (LINK) got listed on September 10 but did not have a major effect on the token’s price (the same can be said for IOTA). It mainly has to do with the fact that Binance.US has a miniscule trade volume compared to the US-based competitor Coinbase that is able to move the price of a certain coin with a single announcement.
Aside from the news that IOTA and BUSD got listed on Binance.US, the latest Binance news show that the Bitcoin trading volume on the Binance Futures list eclipsed $1 billion and saw the trading business rocket to a new all-time high three days ago (October 25). Binance also announced a Dogecoin (DOGE) listing on its platform on October 24 this year and continued the addition of new coins.
