The famous crypto friendly travel website Travala recently announced the integration of a payment application known as Binance Pay. The travel booking company Travala integrates Binance Pay and is the first merchant to implement this solution as a payment form after its launch on February 3rd.
The official announcement shows that Travala allows its customers to use the new payment application, which is still in beta mode, to book for their travel products. If you read the crypto news before, you probably know that Travala allows you to book hotels, homes, flights and other things and pay with cryptocurrency.
Binance Pay is going to introduce a lot more novelties for Travala users. Now, they will have the option to pay straight from their Binance accounts and use five cryptocurrencies and one fiat currency supported. The list will include Bitcoin (BTC), Ether (ETH), Binance Coin (BNB), Binance USD (BUSD), Swipe (SXP) and EUR.
According to the CEO of Binance Changpeng Zhao, the fact that Travala integrates Binance Pay will “increase cryptocurrency adoption and promote the freedom of travel.” For those of you who don’t know, Binance Pay is an app designed for mobile devices which features a crypto wallet and allows users to link the Binance Card.
In that manner, Binance Pay users can make transfers to each other via QR codes generated by the mobile app. The cryptocurrency payment market has been gaining traction lately, catching the attention of many financial players.
As we recently reported, VISA announced a new piloting system to enable banks to integrate cryptocurrency features. Using the crypto APIs, banks can offer a number of cryptocurrency services to their users, such as buying BTC, trading it, and custody services.
All of this proves that Binance is a big name in the crypto industry and its platform and services are quickly being used by many other platforms. This is one of the reasons behind the success of Binance Coin (BNB) over the past years, but also the wide utilization of the Binance USD (BUSD) stablecoin.
