Dentzel lived in Spain for years and he was in his house in Madrid with a friend and a maintenance worker when the doorbell rang. When he opened the door, five people entered with hoodies on and hid their identities, spraying Denztel with something in his eyes, tying him up, and covering the security cameras.
The actual assault happened after they beat him up for hours and eventually cut him and electroshock him which led to him finally giving up and saying his password out loud. He then told local authorities that he contained millions of euros worth of Bitcoin. The perpetrators also stole laptops, phones, tablets, and other electronics before fleeing. According to the attacker’s accent, the police suggest that they might have been from Eastern Europe.
