The French Aerospace Mogul Thales, will be integrating blockchain and Big Data technologies for the company’s digital transformation. The defense and aerospace enterprise will also use novice technology in order to comply with NATO’s standards. According to a recent report, Thales will be integrating Big Data and blockchain in a new management system which will lead to a huge digital transformation of the headquarters’ Production and Maintenance center. The inner company body will have a platform that will be interconnected with all of the applications in its network. this way it will be able to create internal connectivity of all workbenches and test means in order to extract information that is going to be used efficiently, as per the reports.
The upcoming platform will aim at the efficient connection of all processes, improved customer communications, and maintenance operations. The planned blockchain transformation is to help Thales comply with the NATO standards including the traceability of processes, as per the Thales Announcement:
“To comply with NATO standards and those of the Ministries of Defence with which the company collaborates, blockchain will be used to ensure the traceability of all parts and products handled in the Production and Maintenance Center.”

The Big Data generated in the factory’s machines will be used to optimize processes and draw conclusions to guarantee continuous business improvement: repair times, improvements in repairs, etc.”
