Tradedoubler- a Swedish digital marketing company published a press release that reached our blockchain news today announcing the launch of a blockchain-based platform that will be able to connect advertisers and publishers.
The digital at platform will initially serve as decentralized data storage and will make possible for automated and more transparent interactions between publishers and advertisers or any websites that are interested in looking to hosting ads. The platform launch is scheduled for March 20, 2019, but for the other functionalities, users will have to wait until the second half of 2019.
The publisher’s interface which will be the initial solution available for the customers will include product feeds, support center, deep link generator, and streamlined report generator. The Tradedoubler Company stated that this will enable the interested companies to make quick decisions thus increasing their revenues.
The customers will also be able to integrate the platform with their own services or products but they will also be able to develop their own business applications based on the already existing ecosystem. Tradedoubler thinks that the ‘’open platform with global APIs’’ will lead to delivering more innovative products but will also inspire a new generation of affiliate marketing.
A similar platform was also announced previously by AdBlock Plus developer Eyeo GmBH which is basically a browser extension that is able to detect fake news. Adblock aims to move the project database to the Ethereum (ETH) blockchain and also wants to issue MetaCert tokens that will track the rewards for those users who use the solution.
