The hard fork which will bring us, Cardano Shelley, to use is just days away so we are wondering what the rest of the year price prediction for ADA will look like with the latest hard fork. Charles Hoskinson, the CEO of IOHK deep dived into what will be happening in the rest of the year for Cardano, revealing a lot of plans for the community as we are reading more in the Cardano coin news today.
The hard fork will deploy Shelley onto the mainnet which is scheduled for July 29 and unless a security audit deems more fixes to the node are needed, the date will remain unchanged and will mark the start of a whole new era for Cardano. Aside from the fact that the network will transition to a decentralized system, the Shelley launch will mark the start of the intensive development phase that will continue into 2021. Hoskinson speculated on the rest of the year’s price prediction for Cardano, sharing the development flow of the platform that we will see in the upcoming few months.
After the official Shelley launch, all of the people that ran their stake pools on the incentivized testnet will now start turning their infrastructure on and this will go on until August 18th when the staking is set to full swing. The era of the ADA blockchain as we found out in the Cardano coin news today, will then introduce governance and the Voltaire team will introduce the ballot concept. A huge part of the conversation will be how the community can submit these ballots and to get their ideas funded by the network.
Daedalus and Yoroi are also expected to support voting directly from the wallet which will be available through a third-party mobile app.

In August we are also set to see the final work on Trezor and Ledger as Hoskinson said that both of the IOHK and Vacuum labs had quite the time updating the two hardware wallets because of the devices lacked some software capabilities required for Cardano. Hoskinson however noted that most of the heavy lifting was done by Vaccum Labs while he noted that Trezos will not be available with the hard fork at the end of July.
