The latest NEO partnership with the Korean FLETA project helped the price of the asset boost by 10 percent over the last day as we are reading in the following NEO news.
The Chinese blockchain giant NEO will work together with the Korean-based project FLETA in order to launch a clinical trial data registry platform based on the blockchain technology. The clinical trial data registry is set up to test to make things easier and secure by addressing the eventual data manipulation in the medical industry by using the FLETA and NEO expertise.
As it was reported previously, both of the companies will be assisted with multiple experts coming from Seoul and the Kyung Hee University Medical Centre. The medial institution will include specialized activities as well as experts from the establishment that will provide much new information on diabetes which was collected over the course of the past nine years. As it was announced, FLETA is pushing forwards to the expansion and enhancement of the ecosystem not only in Asia but around the world. The FLETA global strategy Head James Song explained:
“We have been mainly operating in Korea for two years and we believe we have built a strong reputation in Korea. We’re excited to bring what we have done to the global region. Working with Neo will definitely accelerate that process.’’
The new NEO partnership with FLETA is a strategic step to the expansion of the presence of NEO in Asia. This partnership comes after a previous collaboration between the blockchain platform and the Government of Korea on an innovative project for storing the clinical trial data based on the blockchain technology. Most of the altcoins increased in value after Bitcoin’s latest rally to $10,000 but Bitcoin has since crashed and lost a chunk of its value dragging down altcoins with it.
NEO remained up by 10% yesterday. The cryptocurrency surged to $13 before Bitcoin crashed and pulled the entire market with it. The price of the asset retraced shortly after but later in the day it managed to bounce and settle at around $12 which is still a huge increase of about 11 percent in only 24 hours. In any case, NEO is now the 19th largest cryptocurrency with a total market capitalization of about $847 million.
