Ripple joins forces with the non-profit organization founded by Chris Larsen- RippleWorks as we are reading further in the ripple news.
Still being one of the leading blockchain companies, Ripple joins forces with Rippleworks in order to support the powerful initiatives across the globe. The American business magazine Fast Company has already named Rippleworks as one of the fastest-growing non-profit organizations in 2020 as per the latest ripple price news.
The non-profit was founded by the current CEO Doug Galen and ex-Ripple boss Chris Larsen back in 2015 and it offers practical support for the entrepreneurs to grow their businesses bigger which includes more funding and expert advice. Larsen is known as the richest person in the crypto community and he even donated his own money to start the foundation. The NGO benefited from the fast growth of the XRP token back in 2017 and it converts to fund more projects in dollars in the future. As of 2019, Rippleworks’ assets reached above $370 million. Larsen even tweeted that he was very proud to be recognized by the Fast Company but there is still a lot of work ahead of them.
In the meantime, some of the members in the crypto community remained unimpressed by the new collaboration and didn’t see it positively saying it was another paid partnership. Ripple partnering with the company that was funded by the CEO itself, seems not worthy of writing anything about it. the $10 billion blockchain platform recently came under fire after the key partner Moneygram stated they were paid $11.3 to use the software of Ripple.
As per the recent ripple price news, Ripple’s TerraPay partner recently got acquired for an undisclosed sum of money and the company even raised $9.6 million from Prime Ventures, Partech Africa and IFC. Ripple’s partner TerraPay is a regional and global payments fintech startup with the help of Comviva which is a mobile solutions provider in India. TerraPay is a new payment provider which links, financial institutions, mobile money operators and mobile transfer operators into the payments network in order to reduce the costs. TerraPay secured more than 20 licenses to operate in more than 60 countries and has offices in Asia, Europe, and Africa with plans to expand across the world with the $9.6 million.
