According to the CEO of Bling, Amy Wan, these statistics have a lot to do with the fact that people are being stuck at home and are simply “bored.” She said that the user increase shows that people are actually spending more time in their apps. Most of the users are located in the United States, the Philippines, Indonesia and Brazil.

Wan also mentioned that the trend of crypto gaming apps has been taking place for mobile gaming in general. A lot of companies in this space are now seeing more downloads and increased activity amid the quarantine requirements all around the globe.

“We think that this may be an opportunity for many folks who previously heard of Bitcoin but never got around to learning much about it to take that time to learn and collect some Bitcoin. Whereas many crypto companies focus on selling Bitcoin, our unique proposition is that we give it away for free through gameplay,” Wan said in the blockchain news.

Besides Bling, some of the most popular crypto gaming apps and blockchain games to earn cryptocurrency include Huntercoin (for Windows), Splinterlands (for Web users), Storm, Worldopo, Sweatcoin, Privateers and Alien Run (for Android and iOS users).

Blockchain and crypto gaming apps will increase their dominance in the next period, and analysts predict a further uptick in both the production of these games and the overall user base in the segment.
