Buy Nike Products And Get Up To 9% Cashback Via Plutus VISA Card

The sportswear giant Nike has partnered with one e-commerce and crypto service named Lolli last November in order to enable more payment options for its customers. Now, you can buy Nike products and get up to 3% in cryptocurrency or 9% in cash back for your purchase – only with the Plutus VISA card.

The partnership also came with a new token system for the Nike shoes named CryptoKicks in December. But the most recent development in the crypto news was the one which allows users to buy Nike products and get cashbacks.

Nike decided to partner with the fintech company Plutus to enable this, now allowing customers to earn cashback from online Nike store purchases that are made with cryptocurrency. As the press release notes, the cashback is 3% in crypto or 9% in cash whenever the customers pay with the Plutus VISA card upon checkout.

What’s also worth noting is that this service is only available in Europe and the United Kingdom regions as cashback will only come in the form of pounds (GBP) or Euros (EUR). There are more additional rewards which can be earned if customers take the Plutus proprietary token Pluton (PLU) in the Plutus app. A decentralized loyalty token like this running on the Ethereum network will allow users to earn up to 12% rewards in total.

Plutus has primarily worked with partners in the travel industry such as Airbnb and Skyscanner so far. This is the first partnership that the fintech firm has with a footwear brand. The fact that users can buy Nike products and get up to 9% in cashback is a major one in the light of the COVID-19 pandemic which still forces people to buy online rather than in-store.

““Plutus was approved as an affiliate partner for both Airbnb and Skyscanner at the start of the year, however all programs in the travel category have been temporarily paused by the company due to travel restrictions caused by COVID-19. Both of these partners were included to offer cash back to qualified Plutus members,” the CEO of Plutus Danial Daychopan noted.

All in all, this is one of the best initiatives for cashback, especially for footwear fanatics and Nike enthusiasts.
