Binance taps Khaby Lame from TikTok, as the most followed creator on the social media platform to increase awareness of Web3 and the influencer will act as a glboal brand ambassador for the exchange while helping debunk myths around the blockchain space.  Lame rose to fame on TikTok and gained 142 million followers with his videos that called out content creators who made simple things too complicated. He provides comical life hacks that made things much simpler while doing the signature move by putting his palms up.

Binance said that Lame with his signature style and will create content that clears up the misconceptions around Web3 and as per James Rothwell, the executive at Binance, Lame will boost the Web3 adoption rates:

“With so much nuance around Web3 and misinformation in the world, it was a perfect match to have Khaby on board to help debunk some of the myths around this space.”

The TikToker said he was curious about Web3 for a while and according to Lame, the partnership with the crypto exchange aligns perfectly with what he does which is making complicated things easier and fun:
