If you haven’t heard of Chengpang Zhao, you definitely should. He is the CEO of the largest and most successful crypto exchanges named Binance – and a proud new owner of a Twitter account that got a verified blue check mark symbol on it.
Despite the fact that Zhao is presently the third richest person in the crypto industry (he weighs more than $1 billion), his Twitter account was still among regular people even though he got massively popular among the crowd.
As he confirmed his new verified profile, Zhao also reminded his followers to not trust anyone that promises to send them more ETH because you give yours generously to them. He wrote:
“One more time, NO ONE will not sent you more ETH just because sent them some. The world doesn’t work that way. Binance “quietly” launched a charity, it is for people in real need, not just because you sent one transaction.”
Zhao is also referring to the numerous scams that are currently present on various platforms – where users send tokens to people they don’t know. The situation has been so strange that even one anonymous user posed as Elon Musk in order to take advantage of the situation.
However, Zhao maintains a great reputation in the crypto community – even despite the fact that Binance has come under fire for many reasons lately. And even though his verification may not seem like a big deal, it is still one initial step towards fighting against fake accounts.
