The bitcoin dominance increases after the major volatility earlier that pushed the value of the number one cryptocurrency as low as $6,400 on some of the exchanges. Bitcoin managed to make a quick recovery above $7,000 and is now trading at $7,137 with a 1.12 percent gain on the charts as we can see in today’s Bitcoin news.

In the meantime, the Bitcoin dominance increases at 68 percent which seems that the drop of the week caused a slight panic among the traders but also turned the entire market into a bleed zone. The quick recovery acted as a ray of sunshine that the cryptocurrency will not fall further and if it manages to stay on track with its current momentum, the coin could break the $7,400 resistance in the next few trading sessions.

As expected, a green flash was spread across the altcoin market with some of the major coins recording gains of about 0.5% over the past day. Matic is leading the top 100 and gained a stunning 21 percent against the dollar after the successful IEO this year which was followed by a huge drop of 70 percent. Some even believed that the matic team was behind the dump and the token is now improving and trading at $0.015.

Crypterium increased by 17 percent against the US dollar over the past day and is the second most significant gainer of the day. CRPT is trading at $0.39 and is a crypto payment solution that will allow the users to spend their digital assets with the CRPT card all around the world.
