Data Shows That Almost 5 New Crypto ATMs Are Installed Every Day

Around 5 new ATMs are being installed around the world every day, according to the latest report and data from the industry statistics Coin ATM Radar. The current rate of growth is 4.9 new ATMs installed each day, as the gauge scale from Coin ATM Radar showed.

Out of the total 4167 cryptocurrency ATMs worldwide, 71.8% of them are located in North America out of which 56% of them are based in the United States and 15% in Canada. Europe is included in the list with 23% while Asia makes up 2.

Within Asia, Hong Kong has the lion share of ATMs and accounts for 0.8% in the total machines worldwide. In Europe, the title of most ATMs goes to Austria (6.4%) closely followed by the United Kingdom (4.8%).

When it comes to support, there is 59.5% support for Litecoin (LTC), 49.3% support for Ethereum (ETH) and 33.9% support for the altcoin Bitcoin Cash (BCH). Dash (DASH) is also in the list with its 17.9% support of ATMs, while Monero (XMR), Dogecoin (DOGE) and ZCash (ZEC) are supported by 3% and less.

This proves that the use of cryptocurrency is increasing, just like the use of crypto-based ATMs that help users withdraw money and use crypto as a store of value.
