Over the past two months, Bitcoin (BTC) has been a major topic in the latest cryptocurrency news. The most dominant cryptocurrency managed to rip to the upside and post gains of more than 100%. Right now, an analyst sees Bitcoin to blast past the $10,000 mark and visit $12,000 very soon in a new 40% surge.
What’s interesting is that in the coming altcoin news, we have crypto assets such as Binance Coin (BNB), Litecoin (LTC) and Chainlink which have gone to the moon. As an analyst recently noted, Bitcoin is up 129% to date, while Binance Coin (BNB) has seen a meteoric rise of 432% which is one of the most jaw dropping performances in such a short period of time.
While Bitcoin to blast to $10,000 is a real possibility, in any other market investors would be doing their utmost the secure profits and liquidate their digital asset stashes for fiat. Ironically, this would be just like a bank run with speculators running for the hills to secure their “lambo money.”
The news that Bitcoin is ready to blast was first shared by the CEO of Civic, Vinny Lingham, who has been dubbed the “Oracle of Bitcoin” on some occasions. He recently took to Twitter to convey his latest Bitcoin price prediction – and was re-shared by many best cryptocurrency news sites. In a tweet, he said that he believes that BTC may soon “blow through $10,000” to then test $12,000.
“This BTC action looks aggressive. Makes me think that we may blow through $10k and test $12k very soon, but $12k is a very heavy resistance level, so I would expect consolidation around the $10k level for some time if $12k is (likely) rejected,” Lingham noted on Twitter.
Bitcoin to blast – or not?
It seems like everyone is asking the same question nowadays and wondering if Bitcoin has the potential of making a big move. Obviously, a move like this would be featured in the altcoin news and pump the prices of many coins.
According to most analysts, Bitcoin has the legs to pass above $10,000 and give us the upward price pressure that we have been expecting for a long time. While Lingham sees Bitcoin to blast past $10k, Mike Novogratz (chief of Galaxy Digital) thinks that BTC is likely to consolidate between $7,000 and $10,000. As he said, “trees don’t grow to the sky”, sharing his belief in which he thinks that the recent move might come too much and too fast.
