Coinbase Forbids Certain Users To Withdraw More Than $10 A Day

The Redditor had also shared a purported screenshot which displays that the maximum amount of daily withdrawal from Coinbase in Bitcoin (BTC) was 10 USD for his account.

As of now, the compliant thread has gathered above 40 comments, with the majority of Redditors showing their huge skepticism over the services Coinbase provided all this time. Some users in the thread noted that they expect Coinbase to enforce even more similar restrictions if crypto prices cross the all-times high thresholds. The news on the alleged daily withdrawal limitation by Coinbase comes during the newly announced joint initiative of Coinbase and Ripple to back blockchain and cryptocurrencies mainstreamization in the U.S.

On January 23^rd Rachel Nelson, the executive of Coinbase, together with Breanne Madigan, the executive of Ripple, announced the forming of the Market Integrity Working Group that has the goal of “improve market integrity and provide consumers the confidence they deserve.”

Coinbase is not the only cryptocurrency exchange that has been facing complaints in regard with withdrawal on Reddit recently. Last week, DC Forecast reported on the well-known Finnish cryptocurrency exchange LocalBitcoinist, supposedly had quietly suspended some of the user accounts, with some users later complained that they had to wait at least two weeks to delete their accounts in order to have the possibility to withdraw their Bitcoin coins.
