De Cecco Pasta Producer Joins The VeChain Ecosystem: Report

De Cecco, the world’s biggest pasta producer has just joined the VeChain Ecosystem by adopting the latest My Care methodology as we are reading further in the latest Vechain VET news.

De Cecco becomes Italy’s major food manufacturer to integrate the latest VEchain solution and with the adoption of My Care is a strategy designed to fight the risks of contagion that are arising during the current pandemic situation. According to Google, worldwide deaths reached 692K and the number is rising. With that said, the actions to mitigate exposure via food brings a lot of reassurance for many.

The quality manager at De Cecco, Vincenzo Ponte, explained the processes and changes that have occurred since the breakout but despite the uncertainty, he remained adamant that adapting to the new methodologies is a key tool in keeping everyone safe:

 “In recent months our priority has been to create a safe environment for all our collaborators and operators… we have adapted our management systems and our operating methods in such a way as to always be in line with the various governmental provisions that have followed over time.”

My Care is administered by the risk management and quality assurance company DNV GL who bought a stake in Vechain back in 2018. During the acquisition, the DNV GL CEO Luca Criscotti said that the relationship was a win-win situation for both companies which allowed VeChain to expand its technology and give DNV GL a digital reassurance:

 “VeChain has helped us realise our digital assurance ambitions through the launch of new revolutionary assurance products in the market. The acquisition of a stake in VeChain is a natural progression of our relationship and the investment will allow us to transform our existing business model and bring Digital Assurance to a wider audience, including consumers.”
