The TRON founder Justin Sun builds a Chainlink impersonator on Tron’s blockchain but many said he is a little late to the Defi party. Are they right? Let’s find out in today’s TRON news.
The speculative crypto asset is driven by the hype around it and around things that are new on the market. even though Bitcoin was the better buy, investors rushed into the market to purchase altcoins that eventually became worth nothing. Impersonators always perish right next to the real deal. This is why it is a weird decision for TRON founder Justin Sun to jump on the decentralized oracle trend and try and launch a TRX-built version of his own.
In only TWO days, @DeFi_JUST will be launching #JustLink, a #TRON oracle project which will link the real world and the virtual, seamlessly connecting data from two realities and creating a trustworthy and accessible database!
An exciting project we are excited to launch! https://t.co/4q5t3L95oy

Justin Sun builds a Chainlink impersonator as over the summertime, the decentralized oracle project went into full-price discover modes and set new all-time highs. The asset outperformed the market which is why TRON is a set competitor to take on the now top-ten ranked crypto assets. LINK knocked TRON itself out of the crypto top ten by market cap and is now in the 15th position. With the DeFi tokens down for the count, and LINK falling as well, Sun doesn’t seem to realize that the lights are out for this party and he has to come back in a few months when things start to pick up again.
The new Tron-based decentralized oracle project is called JustLink. The mashup of the name is combined with Sun’s name and the chainlink second part of the word. Chainlink is the best performing crypto asset in the top ten by market cap and this year and has been for quite some time now. In the meantime, TRON was one of the tokens that tried to be the next Bitcoin in the crypto bubble and has been left trying to fill the niche that was not necessary. It also tried to be a platform for Tether but ERC20 still dominates the market.
Justin Sun tried to imitate what is now trending so when Bitcoin got a Twitter emoji, Tron instantly wanted to get the same. When Uniswap and Sushiswap were hot, he promoted JustSwap and how he is trying to launch JustLink even though Chainlink’s uptrend is unstoppable. Even the World Economic Forum recognized that chainlink has a superior technology so maybe he will want to create something that has real substance.
