CRO Token Soars 25% To New ATH While Bitcoin Struggles Below $57K

The CRO token soars 25% to a new all-time high while Bitcoin had a hard time at the $57,000 price range and failed to produce some strong gains as we can see more in today’s altcoin news and analysis.

Bitcoin’s volatility continued over the past day but the asset calmed below $57,000 with most altcoins being in the green. However, the CRO token soars 25% marking a new all-time high after a double-digit price surge. It’s safe to assume that the native cryptocurrency was among the best performers in the industry and propelled by the partnerships and strategic developments, CRO surged from $0.2 to a new high of $0.94 in less than a month. Over the past day alone, CRO increased by 25% and it is now the 12^th biggest cryptocurrency with a market cap of $24 billion.

Some gaming tokens also surged lately with the Sandbox only confirming the narrative. On e daily scale, SAND surged by 32% to a new record at above $7. more double-digit gains came from Zcash which increased by 26%, BORA by 22%, Audius by 19%, Polygon by 14%, and Harmony by 11%. the larger cap altcoins painted a modest increase like Ethereum that increased by 5% and now sits above $4300. Binance coin neared $600 after a modest 4% jump while DOGE, DOT, Solana, Ripple, and Terra increased by 2-3%. Cardano on the contrary lost about 4% and SHIB and AVAX followed with 6-7% losses in the day.

The crypto market cap is up around $50 billion on one day and now stands above $2.7 trillion on CoinGecko. The main cryptocurrency’s price took a ride on a volatile roller coaster over the past few days and it dumped to a new low below $56,000 before it went on on an offensive and reach $60,000. The bears returned on Monday and pushed bitcoin south again but this time to $57,000. The bulls intercepted the move and then led the asset to over $59,000 but the spike was short-lived.

BTC Dropped in the next few hours and lost over $3000 to a daily low of $55,750 as more recovery attempts followed with no success. BTC Stalled below $57,000 and now its market cap stands at $1.1 trillion. The dominance over the rest of the altcoins suffered as well, dropping 3% in two weeks.
