The crypto community sees this as a massive blow for Justin Sun mainly because the CEO of the largest cryptocurrency exchange in the world will not be attending this big moment. Binance’s CZ already gave his shout-out to the crypto evangelist Anthony Pompliano and he was even quicker to invite himself to the Sun-Buffett lunch.
Pompliano is among the very few people that Zhao respects. On the other hand, Pomp doesn’t think too highly of the Tron founder, so it quickly becomes a magic circle. While the crypto community on Twitter was too busy discussing the $4.5 million lunch, Warren Buffett is not looking particularly touched by the prospect of being trashed by Bitcoin and blockchain supporters. On the contrary, he was quoted saying:
“I’m delighted with the fact that Justin has won the lunch and am looking forward to meeting him and his friends. We are going to have a good time and Glide will use his contribution to help many thousands of people.”
Sun will take up to seven people on that lunch so we are only here to wait and see what the Berkshire Hathaway boss will think about his propositions. The crypto community is not really expecting anything to change after the meeting. Warren Buffett will not be ending his hate towards cryptocurrency by writing a big fat cheque for $200 million in Tron, bitcoin or any other cryptocurrency.
Usually, people pay a lot of money to learn from Buffett but it seems like Justin Sun is trying to change the script a little and to educate him on crypto and blockchain.

As noted in the altcoin news, Warren Buffett didn’t invest in Amazon until it was worth about $1000 so he is not going to invest heavily in crypto unless he is certain about the investment.
