Wolfram Alpha integrates Tezos into its Computational tool that will help developers work on blockchain-based programs and smart contracts as we can see more in our Tezos news today.
The addition of TEzos will enable developers to work on blockchain-based programs and smart contracts that are built on Wolfram and to also create reliable oracles. The blockchain is now fully integrated into the computational tool that Wolfram Alpha uses as a result of the partnership between Wolfram Blockchain Labs and TQ Tezos which is a New York-based incubator of the Tezos blockchain according to the press release.
Wolfram Blockchain Labs provides developers and companies with the tools to create smart contracts and other blockchain-based programs and it is a division of the Wolfram Research branch that operates as a search engine that uses advanced mathematics to solve problems in the fields of mathematics and sciences. The goal is to answer complex questions across a broad range of topics like culture, health, and science.
The firm turned to the high-speed network that Tezos owns for building the blockchain prowess as the chief technology officer Johan Veerman noted:
“Tezos is an exciting third-generation blockchain that features a number of services and functions that will expand what’s available to our developers.”
As Wolfram Alpha integrates Tezos, the underlying code will be used to build products and will allow developers to deploy smart contracts on their apps in a concise manner. according to the press release, Wolfram said that its expansive knowledgebase and algorithm-based can be used to deliver computational facts for Tezos-built oracles. Oracles are reliable for their data feeds that can be used to relay information to smart contracts or blockchains as the latter can store and also process data but cannot validate the authenticity of the data. This is where oracles prove helpful as they prevent faulty data from allowing the exploits to take place and to provide reliable data.
Wolfram said that this enables it to support oracles in a secure manner by using formal verification tools that make the network more secure by proving how correct the properties of a smart contract are. This will help mitigate malicious activity using the tools. With the new partnerships, Tezos is one of four crypto networks that are supported by the company with others being Ethereum, Cardano, and Bitcoin.
