Pornhub Officially Welcomes Tron (TRX) And ZenCash (ZEN) Payments

The port sector was always seen as an early adopter of new technology – and cryptocurrencies are no exclusion. Still, it is the largest companies in the industry that are usually making the leap forward.

This year, all eyes are on Pornhub, one of the most popular porn networks out there. As of recently, the adult entertainment firm announced that it has begun accepting payments in Tron (TRX) and ZenCash (ZEN). The TRX and ZEN coins will be used by consumers of adult entertainment interested in accessing premium content on Pornhub as well as its affiliated sites including Brazzers.

The c0-founder of ZenCash (which is a fork of Zcash) Robert Viglione, officially stated that there are more than 115 million users who visit Pornhub and its affiliated websites every day – which is the largest group of adult entertainment websites in the world.

As Viglione said, the anonymity-enhanced cryptocurrency is perfect as a ‘privacy technology’ on the market, stating:

“We are excited to provide a private payment option for over 115 million daily users on the MindGeek [Pornhub’s parent company] websites! The exposure to the digital entertainment industry provides an excellent use-case for ZenCash by giving individuals the ability to pay for digital entertainment privately without fear of exposure. ZenCash uses the best privacy technology available in the market,”

Tron also sees this announcement great – especially because it is coming days after its Independence Day mainnet activation in which the cryptocurrency migrated to an independent blockchain. The user base at Tron is currently expanding, meeting the goal of becoming a decentralized content-sharing platform that leverages peer-to-peer and blockchain network technology.

The partnership with Pornhub is a major step for both of the cryptocurrencies for building a massive user base.
