Litecoin Is Leading The New $10 Billion Market Surge

Another Bitcoin copyright claim was filed on May 24 by Wei Liu, ex-executive at the crypto exchange Bilbox and we read more about it in the latest cryptocurrency news below.

Liu is the second person in the world to submit a copyright claim on the bitcoin whitepaper after the recent happenings in the crypto community challenged by the BSV creator Craig Wright. The Australian developer still insists on being the creator of the number one cryptocurrency.

As multiple news sources reported, Wright was the first person to attempt to copyright Bitcoin at the start of this month and he also pursued everyone who disagreed with his claims and even took some of his opponents to court.

The move comes amid tensions within the Bitcoin community over the latest actions by Craig Wright, the Australian developer who has infamously insisted he created the cryptocurrency. The legal action created a lot of pressure for both Wright and those who happened to be on the opposite side with a judge demanding proof of all of the bitcoin addresses he owns.

As a part of the entire drama, John McAfee who also got threats from Wright, recently tweeted that he asks the bitcoin community to submit copyright claims as many as possible in order to humiliate Wright. While it still remains unknown whether the ‘’another bitcoin copyright claim’’ is a part of the previous demand by McAfee, people in the crypto community believe that this could be the start of the series of mini-attacks for Wright.

As noted in the altcoin news previously, Copyright does not imply that someone invented a specific term but it can stir a legal process. Until now, it is assumed that Wright initiated the application as a part of his many court battles. Liu is no stranger to the ownership disputes. She even formed the subject of separate argument over Bibox ownership since the co-founder of the company sued her for false claims.

Her copyright claim is focused on the ‘’Bitcoin: A Peer-to-peer Electronic Cash System’’ only, while Wright’s includes the term ‘’Bitcoin’’ as well.  The US Copyright Office noted:

‘’In a case in which a work is registered under a pseudonym, the Copyright Office does not investigate whether there is a provable connection between the claimant and the pseudonymous author.’’
