Coinbase confirmed its subscription service with zero fees and is due to release the project soon as we are reading more in our latest Coinbase news today.
Coinbase is in the process of testing its new subscription service and it will allow the traders to buy and sell crypto without fees and dubbed coinbase One, will be available to a small group of users at first. The exchange as the biggest one in the US is in the process of testing out its new service and as Coinbase confirmed its subscription service, some users recieved access to the beta version last night which will be called Coinbase One. Users even posted screenshots on Twitter of the product and said it will give users zero-fee trading and phone support to the traders. One of the users posted:
“Enjoy zero trading fees on unlimited trades as long as you’re a subscriber. A price spread may still apply.”
Is @Coinbase getting ready to launch a subscription service w/free trades, priority support, and $1M insurance called Coinbase One?
Found this buried in the Coinbase app tonight under Profile & Settings. Manage Subscription option loads a blank screen. 🧐 pic.twitter.com/pPciOxBGJb

Coinbase said that it is working on these services and that it will be available to a few users to start with but it is not yet known how much the subscription service will cost. One company spokesperson noted:
“Coinbase has started testing a subscription product for our customers. Customers in the test group will have the ability to buy, sell, and convert digital currencies on the Coinbase platform without a Coinbase fee for each trade (spread fees still apply). We’re always looking to learn more about how we can best serve our customers in different ways.”
The spokesperson noted that the exchange is still in the early stages so everything about the product experience will be formed after the feedback from the users. The screenshots posted of the beta version also show that the service will include a higher level of account protection:
“If any funds in your Coinbase account are stolen by someone you don’t know due to an account takeover, you may be eligible for a reimbursement of up to $1 million in losses.”
San Francisco-based exchange coinbase is an exchange that prides itself on usability but it has also been the subject of far-reaching criticism about its customer service but did go public first and listed on NASDAQ.
