Shopify’s “GM” shop is now in beta mode and only those with the existing NFT collections will be eligible to apply for early access. Those not yet approved are still to add the NFT token app like Shopthru or Single to their Shopify storefront. As a part of the token-gated shop launch, Shopify revealed that it already partnered with Adam bomb, World of Women, Invisible Friends, Doodles, Stapleverse, and Cool Cats NFT collections to make token-gated storefronts.

In addition to online token-gating, Shopify is adding IRL token gating at the brick-and-mortar stores which means that only eligible NFT holders can buy merch at a physical location.
